West Mid Show

We went to the West Mid Show on Saturday, and were VERY lucky with the weather. Even though the girls wore wellies it was dry. Plenty of livestock to see, plus military stuff (for me!), plus eating and drinking opportunities.

Just like an episode of Emmerdale?

Some prime beef for the ladies, err and me.

The show kindly arranged a dating agency for farmers from West of Offa's Dyke.

Troopers from the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment gamely performed their Musical Ride. One fell off and one lost his helmet - otherwise excellent.
Soldiers from the Royal Mercian and Lancastrian Yeomanry, supported by AAC Gazelle helicopters, provided a military display. Smoke, blanks and all good fun.

One of two Gazelle AH1 helicopters that joined in the fun.
